Earlier this month, HMD Global has officially launched the Nokia 7.1 with the all-new PureDisplay that supports HDR10 playback. The company is also teasing to launch the successor to the last year’s Nokia 7 Plus. The new Nokia 7.1 Plus will first make its debut in China as Nokia X7. Just like the other China-exclusive X-series smartphones, the upcoming Nokia X7 (a.k.a Nokia 7.1 Plus) will also come with glossy finish body and notch display.
Unlike the other two X-series devices, the upcoming Nokia X7 will sport dual rear cameras with a ZEISS lens. Just like the Nokia 7.1, the new Nokia X7 might also support HDR10 playback. While the Nokia X7 runs on custom UI based on Android 8.1 Oreo, the Nokia 7.1 Plus will be joining the Android One family. Based on the rumors, the device comes with a 6.18″ notch display with Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the device will come powered by 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform.
It comes coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. In terms of optics, the Nokia X7 will be offering 12MP + 13MP dual rear cameras and a 20MP single selfie camera. Apart from the protruding rear cameras, we can also spot the fingerprint sensor on the rear. The official launch event is scheduled for tomorrow in China and we need to wait till then for the complete details including the specifications and pricing. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
