Google launched its personal assistant called Google Assitant at I/O 2016. The Google messaging app, Allo first came with this feature. Talking about the hardware devices, the Google Home was first to include the Google Assitant. Later Google launched the HTC manufactured Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. Apart from the flagship specifications and stunning camera capabilities, both these devices also came exclusively with the built-in Google Assistant. At the recently concluded Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, LG launched its latest flagship smartphone LG G6 with a 5.7-inch FullVision display offering 18:9 aspect ratio.
However, with the LG G6, Google also made the Google Assistant available for all the smartphones running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and earlier versions. Today, the Chinese company Ulefone announced that all its upcoming smartphones along with Gemini Pro will come with Google Assistant pre-installed. The list of upcoming devices includes Ulefone Armor 2, F1, T1, and T3. Talking about the Ulefone Gemini Pro, the design looks similar to the iPhone 7 Plus with metal body and rounded edges. On the top left, we can also see the dual camera setup.
It sports 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display is protected by a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 on top. Under the hood is the MediaTek Helio X27 deca-core processor clocked at 2.6Ghz. The device runs on the latest Android 7.1 Marshmallow and comes with almost stock AMdroid UI. Though it comes with onscreen navigation buttons, there is also a physical button that features a fingerprint sensor. The Gemini Pro packs 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. It sports dual 13MP sensors on the rear with dual tone LED flash and another 13MP sensor on the front for selfies and video calls.
The Gemini Pro is backed by a 3,680mAh battery that can give a day-long battery life. The Ulefone T3 is the another flagship device that was showcased at the event. It comes with a premium metal body with 2.5D glass on the front. It will be powered by the upcoming Helio X30 deca-core processor built on 10nm FinFET Architecture. It gives 35% better performance along with 50% power efficiency compared to Helio X20 SoC. It is mentioned to come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Zenfone AR launched at the CES 2017 is the world’s first smartphone with 8GB of RAM, and now Ulefone T3 joins it.
