Garmin Instinct is a new smartwatch from Garmin which is well known for making rugged smartwatches. This time its nothing new from the company as the new Instinct is also a rugged smartwatch that comes with fitness-centric features like the activity tracking, multiple global positioning systems and durable built quality. It has been priced at $299.99 (approx Rs. 22,000) and will be available in Tundra, Graphite and Flame Red color variants which has been listed on the official website of the company.
This new smartwatch is said to be tough as nails and built for outdoor activities for rough usage. The watch gets a military-grade shock and water resistance proofing and the display is also scratch resistant. Moreover, the device is made with a fiber reinforced polymer shell giving it a strong body and useful for outdoor activities like hiking and swimming without any worries. This smartwatch also comes with GPS and GLONASS for vacation tracking which will also work even in remote areas.
The Garmin Instinct watch is capable of monitoring heart rate, calories, steps and also keeps a track of sleep patterns. The watch comes with 3-axis compass and barometric altimeter and the feature called as the TracBack feature which will help its users to get back to the starting point from any position you are currently in. The smartwatch can receive emails and text which is compatible with iOS and also Android. The company claims that the device will last for 14 days without turning on the GPS and will last for 16 hours and 40 hours if the battery saver is turned on.
The onboard storage is 16MB to save little data and weighs 52 grams and has 23mm of watch face with 128 x 128 pixels resolutions.
