Realme will soon make its debut in China by launching two new smartphones –  Realme X and Realme X Lite. We already got the first look of both these devices with the TENAA listings. Now, the updated listings also revealed the full specifications of the Realme X and Realme X Lite smartphones. As expected, the Realme X Lite is the same Realme 3 Lite which was recently launched in the Indian market. The Realme X Lite comes with the model number RMX1851 and will be available in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants. On the other hand, the high-end Realme X listing only shows 4GB RAM variant. However, we also expect the device to come in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants as well.

Both the devices will be running on the latest ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie. We also expect the Realme X smartphones to support VOOC 3.0 flash charge technology. Talking about the specifications, the Realme X Lite will sport 6.3-inch Full HD+ (2340  × 1080 pixels) IPS display and comes powered by 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform. On the rear, the device offers 16MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, it sports a 25MP front-facing camera in the waterdrop notch. It will be backed by a 4,045mAh battery and supports via MicroUSB 2.0 port.

Coming to the Realme X, it sports complete full view display with no notch or bezels. The company already confirmed the device to offer AMOLED display with 91.2% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, it will be powered by an unspecified octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. We expect this to be the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 Mobile Platform built on Samsung’s 8nm FinFET node. Talking about the camera department, the Realme X sports 48MP + 5MP dual camera setup on the rear featuring Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.7 aperture. While we expected the device to come with a 32MP pop-up camera, it actually comes with a 16MP camera for selfies.

Unlike the Realme X Lite, the Realme X sports an in-display fingerprint scanner. We hope the company uses USB Type-C port instead of the dated MicroUSB 2.0 port on this device. The device will be backed by a 3,700mAh non-removable battery and weighs around 191 grams. As per the TENAA listing, the Realme X won’t be coming with a MicroSD card slot for further expanding the storage. We will be knowing the complete details along with the pricing and availability on the launch date, i.e. May 15th. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
