Insertion of SIM on Doogee Y100 Pro is very straightforward. Firstly, switch off the device, remove the battery and insert the SIM card in the respective slot as per the give instruction on the panel. Place the battery back and put the back cover on the device and boot it. You have successfully inserted SIM on your device.
Doogee Y100 Pro is a dual SIM smartphone. SIM 1 port supports micro SIM and SIM 2 port supports the regular SIM card. The device is a combination of WCDMA and GSM.
Sharing of Data network over a device can be done with the help tethering and hotspot option on the device. To enable this feature on your device, Open the settings, Tap on More in wireless and network. In the newly opened list Tap on Tethering &portable hotspot and click on Wi-Fi hotspot. Now, tap on the off button to enable this on your device, You can also setup the WiFi hotspot and change the network SSID name and set up a password for your device.
Double tap to wake up, draw up to unlock, Draw c for camera, draw e for browser, draw w to open file manager; draw m to awake music, draw o to awake phone are some of the smart wake up gestures available on the device. To access them on your device, Open the Settings, Tap on Smart Wake-up and click on off button to enable it. Now, tap on the gestures that you want to use for your device.
To capture a screenshot on your Doogee device, press the power/lock button along with the volume down key. You have successfully captured your screenshot. It is saved in your gallery, and you can also open it from the notification panel immediately after the capture. You can also capture a screenshot by swiping three fingers from top to bottom if you have enabled this in smart gesture on your device.
Any external app can be installed by enabling the unknown sources option on the device. To enable this on your Doogee device, Open the settings and tap on Security. Now, head over to Unknown sources and tap on it, click on the OK button in the pop-up to enable it. Now you can install external apps on your device without any interruption.
There is no such option available on the device where you can customize the Quick settings in the Notification panel.

Battery saving mode helps you to improve the battery performance by reducing the usage of background apps the device. To activate this on your device, open the Settings, head over to the device and tap on battery. Now, tap on the recent key and click on the battery saver option.Further, Tap on the off button to activate that on your device. You also set the turn on automatically option if required by tapping and setting the battery percentage.
Acceleration, Light, and proximity sensors are available on the device and helps in automating the device.
No, there are no LED notification lights available on this device.
Smart gestures can be accessed by passing your hand on the top of the phone from left to right to control several functions on the device. To enable this on your device, Open the settings, tap on Smart gesture. Now, click on off to enable this on your device, and select the applications that you want to access using this gesture.
Usually, the devices with Android Lollipop on it supports the screen pinning feature. Though the device come with Android 5.1.1 version, it doesn’t support screen pinning.
The device comes with basic apps like a calendar, calculator, clock, FM radio, music, etc., and all the google related apps preinstalled. The bloatware apps available on the device are DG Browser, Go keyboard.
Though the device comes with an external micro SD slot, there is no such option in the device where you can move apps from internal to SD card.
The device comes with 16GB as its internal memory where 11.49 GB is available for the user and rest of space is occupied by the apps and OS.
The device comes with 2 GB RAM out of which system uses 119MB; apps use 116MB, and the remaining 1.7GB of RAM is available when no apps are running on the device.
To update your device manually, open the Settings, tap on About Phone. In the new list click on wireless update and further tap on check for updates. The device checks for updates and if there are no updates then a message stating Your system is currently up to date is displayed on screen.
