Back in May this year, Coolpad launched the Coolpad Note 6 smartphone with dual front cameras in India. Today, the company launched the all-new Coolpad Note 8 as its successor. While the Coolpad Note 6 is sold via offline stores, the new Note 8 will be Paytm exclusive. The device comes only in Black color and is priced at Rs 9,999. It comes with the glossy finish body with a 2.5D curved glass on the front. On the front is the 5.99-inch IPS display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.

It comes powered by the 64-bit MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU and 4GB of RAM. There is 64GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 128GB using the dedicated MicroSD card. There are dual cameras on the rear featuring a 16MP primary sensor and a 0.3MP secondary sensor. For selfies, the Coolpad Note 8 sports an 8MP front-facing camera. The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with a custom skin on top.

It is backed by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery and lacks fast charging support. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. While there is a fingerprint sensor on the rear, it also supports face unlock feature. With these specifications, the Coolpad Note 8 falls flat when compared to the budgets offerings from other Chinese manufacturers like Xiaomi and Realme. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
