Coolpad has launched the latest high-end smartphone called Cool Play 6 in India. It is priced at Rs. 14,999 and will be available exclusively through Amazon India starting September 4th. The Cool Play 6 was first launched in China and the newly launched Indian variant comes with the hybrid SIM slot which also accepts the MicroSD card instead of the secondary SIM. At the Cool Play 6 launch event held in Dubai, the company also confirmed to bring the affordable Coolpad Mega 4A along with the high-end Cool S1 Changer smartphone to the Indian market.

As of now, there is no information about the exact launch date of these two devices. However, the company hinted the launch event to be held before the Diwali holiday season. The Coolpad Mega 4A comes with a 5-inch display and might offer HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. It runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The smartphone supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G VoLTE connectivity. It will include 16GB of expandable storage and comes with a price tag of Rs 5,999. Just like the recently launched Coolpad Note 5 Lite C, the Mega 4A will also be sold through offline channels across the country.

On the other hand, the Cool S1 Changer is already launched in China as Coolpad S1 Changer. The Cool S1 Changer is the same LeEco Le Pro 3 launched in China, but additionally comes with Harman’s Clari-Fi audio enhancing technology. Coolpad is also offered the AKG N18 Hi-Fi earphones within the package in China. The dual speaker setup on the Cool S1 offers stereo sound effect and also includes 10V dual audio amplifiers. It sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and comes powered by the 64-bit Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor clocked at 2.35GHz.

It might come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage in India. While the Chinese variant runs on LeEco’s EUI 5.8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the Indian variant might come with Android 7.0 Nougat based Journey UI. In the camera department, there is a 16MP Sony IMX298 sensor on the rear with PDAF, 6P lens, and an aperture f/2.0. For selfies, there is an 8MP front facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and 84-degree wide-angle lens. It is backed by a 4,070mAh non-removable battery and also supports Quick Charge 3.0.

The Cool S1 Changer will be exclusively sold through to Amazon India. We also expect it to be priced between Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 25,000 price range. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for the pricing and availability details of the Coolpad Mega 4A and Cool S1 Changer smartphones.
