Blackview Announces BV6000s Waterproof Smartphone with 4200 mAh Battery

The Philippines-based handset maker, Blackview had recently unveiled the R7 smartphone with decent specifications at an affordable price bracket. Now, the brand has announced a new smartphone named as Blackview BV6000s. It is the smaller variant of the Blackview BV6000 that was launched May 2016. The handset features IP68 Technology that survives in harsh outdoor environment. It has a Bi-material Injection molding frame with the polycarbonate plus glass fiber that makes the high strength & hardness and also protects your device from serious bumps with an excellent cushioning effect.

The handset flaunts a 5.0-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution that integrates with a 294 PPI of pixel density and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, it relies on MediaTek MT6735A Quad-core processor that clocks at 1.3 GHz coupled with Mali T720 Graphics. It runs on the latest Android Marshmallow with customized UI that gives you completely fresh user experience and also has a built-in function such as PTT (Push To Talk) that provides as an intercom without distance.

The device has an Exquisite CNC metal frame that gives an excellent touch in feel for you. The dual SIM smartphone supports 4G+ LTE connectivity options, which provides 300Mbps download speed and 50Mbps upload speed as well. The Blackview BV6000s smartphone packs an 8-megapixel rear image sensor with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, which can record videos in 1080p at 30 frames per second. On the front, there is a 2-megapixel OV5670 front snapper with 85-degrees wide angle lens for taking selfies.

Other connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm audio jack and MicroUSB port, A-GPS and NFC Technology that provides wireless connection more straightforward, fast and convenient way in modern daily life such as prepaid Buss pass, Electronic Access, Credit Card Payment and High-Speed Data Transmission. The Blackview BV6000s smartphone houses 16GB internal memory that can expanded up to 32GB using microSD card slot and 2GB of RAM.

This handset comes powered by 4200 mAh battery with 5V2A fast charge technology. It has an Atmosphere Pressure Sensor, which helps to calculate the elevation of a mountain. The highlights of the smartphone are Waterproof Technology and Scratch resistance. It will be available in Sunshine Yellow, Violet Black, and Army Green color options. As of now, there is no information regarding pricing and the availability of the smartphone. In 2016, few companies came up with the waterproof smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Cat S60 and Sharp Aquos 507SH.
