The Taiwanese smartphone maker, Asus has skipped announcing the all-new Zenfone 4 smartphones at the Computex 2017 held in Taipei, Taiwan. We have already seen several rumors about the Zenfone 4 smartphones in the last few months. Last week, Asus has accidentally leaked the key specifications of the Zenfone 4, Zenfone 4 Selfie, Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro, and Zenfone 4 Max smartphones. The company is expected to unveil the Zenfone 4 smartphones in the next few days. Today we got to know about yet another upcoming Asus smartphone called Zenfone 4 Pro (ZS551KL).
The Zenfone 4 Pro will be company’s flagship smartphone for 2017. According to the latest leak, it sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED display and offers just Full HD (1920 x 1o80 pixels) resolution. However, we also expect the company to launch a pro variant with Quad HD display. Under the hood will be the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor clocked at 2.35GHz. It is built using the 10nm FinFET processor and comes coupled with Adreno 540 GPU. The Zenfone 4 Pro will be company’s first smartphone to use the flagship Qualcomm processor.
Even LG is also launching its first Snapdragon 835 powered smartphone later this month. It will be running on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with the customized ZenUI laid on top. There will be 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. As said earlier, there might be at least a couple of other variants of Zenfone 4 Pro with different storage options. It will be backed by a 3,600mAh non-removable battery and measures just 7.6mm thickness. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and USB Type-C Port.
While there is no information about the cameras, the device is rumored to offer dual camera setup on the rear. Since there is no official confirmation, take these details with a pinch of salt. The earlier leaked Zenfone 4 Max is also said to come with dual camera setup featuring 13MP and 5MP sensors. The ZC520KL version sports a 5.2-inch display and will be powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor. It packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is a physical home button on the front that comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor.
