ASUS ZenFone 3 Laser & ZenFone 3 Max launched in Vietnam

After the launch of three smartphones in Zenfone lineup, the company has now unveiled two new devices at an event in Vietnam. These two devices are called ZenFone 3 Laser and the ZenFone 3 Max. Both the ZenFone 3 Laser and ZenFone 3 Max smartphones sport metal builds and runs ZenUI on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Asus introduced its new Zenfone 3 series earlier this year, by launching the Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe, and Zenfone 3 Ultra.
ZenFone 3 Laser:
The ASUS ZenFone 3 Laser comes with a 5.5-inch FHD display with 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by an octa-core processor, which is coupled with 4GB of RAM. It also comes with a 32GB of internal storage option and sports a fingerprint scanner. On the camera side, we have a 13-megapixel camera dubbed “PixelMaster”, which is the Sony IMX214 sensor with EIS. It is essentially and upgraded version of the camera found on the ZenFone 3 as this features a second-generation autofocus. The claims that it focuses in 0.03 seconds. This device measures at about 7.9 mm in thickness.
ZenFone 3 Max:
The ASUS ZenFone 3 Max features a 5.2-inch IPS LCD and comes with 32GB of storage. The smartphone packs a 3GB of RAM and comes with a 32GB of internal storage. It also comes with a fingerprint scanner to unlock the handset, and the company claims it is an upgraded version and can unlock the device in about 0.2 seconds. No chipset details were revealed by the company, so stay tuned as we will update the info accordingly. The best feature of the device is its battery which comes with about 4100 mAh battery. It also comes with a bank power mode for reverse charging mode.
Both the devices will be available to purchase soon in Vietnam soon in Titanium Grey, Glacier Silver, and Sand Gold colors. The ZenFone 3 is priced at about VND 5,990,000 (which roughly translates to 18,000 INR) while the ZenFone 3 Max is priced at VND 4,490,000 (about 13,500 INR). The Taiwanese handset maker has not revealed availability details of the new ZenFone smartphones outside Vietnam. So stay tuned for more info on that.
