ZTE Small Fresh 4 with 5.2″ 1080p Display & Fingerprint Sensor Launched

ZTE has officially launched a new entry-level smartphone called Small Fresh 4 in China. It is the successor to Small Fresh 3 launched in November last year, this same device was later launched as Blade X6 in international markets. Compared to its predecessor, the Small Fresh 4 packs better specifications and build quality. It is also priced slightly on the higher side at 1090 Yuan (approx $163 / Rs. 11,000). The device sports a 2.5D on the front and features rounded corners and a textured power button. It will be available in Gold, Silver, and Rose Gold color options.

The device comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. It is powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and coupled with Mali T720 GPU. The Smal Fresh 4 also includes 2GB of RAM and 16GB  of internal storage that can be further expanded upto via MicroSD card slot. It supports gestures shortcuts even when the screen is turned off. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with heavily customized MiFavor 3.5 UI on top.

In the camera department, the device offers a 13MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash and PDAF that can focus in just 0.1 seconds, on the front is a 5MP sensor with the 160 degree wide-angle lens. Just below the rear camera is the round shaped fingerprint sensor that can be unlocked in just 0.3 seconds, it can also be used as shutter button in the camera app. The device supports dual SIM dual standby with the hybrid SIM slot where the user can opt either for the MicroSD card or the secondary SIM.

It also got a voice assistant that can answer the calls. The Small Fresh 4 will be available in Gold, Silver, and Rose Gold color options. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The device is currently available for registration on Tmall and the sales starts from July 26th. The company also announced that the first three devices in the Small Fresh series had crossed 300 million sales.
