Next Apple MacBook may have SIM Card slot or Cellular Capabilities acc to New Patent

Apple is known for bringing in some new technological advancements to its product lineup, especially with their MacBook lineup. They introduced the new Force Touch trackpad which was later implemented in the iPhone 6s as well as the new Force Touch display which they called the 3D touch. The same can be seen in the new iPhones’ home button as well. So the company do knows what they are doing when it comes to these innovative ideas.
On the same lines, we have some new reports claiming that the company might be working on something new for the upcoming new MacBook lineup for next year. It is a known fact that the company once had an interest of creating a cellular MacBook. This would be on the same lines of iPads and iPhones, where the device will have an LTE connection. But the ideas was apparently dropped or maybe neglected as we never saw anything from the company on that. But now it looks like they are still working on those as suggested by a new patent filed by them. The new patent shows a provision for Always-on connectivity via a high-speed mobile connection.
How to Setup Force Touch on Android Phones like Apple 3D Touch
According to the patent, it’d connect to just about anything as well as running most of the applications you’re currently using on your MacBook. So if this is implemented, then maybe we can expect the next MacBook lineup to come with LTE connectivity option, where you can stay connected to the internet on the go. However, at this point, it is just a patent and it could be forever till we actually see a working device with this capability. In fact, we are not even sure if this will ever work out. But it is definitely not a far-fetched idea to assume that the future MacBooks will have LTE connectivity. Well, we just have to wait and see what we get here.
