Alcatel Streak Smartphone with 4.5″ Display & 5 MP Camera launched at $29.99

Alcatel had recently introduced the Idol 4 smartphone with VR experience Kit and is available on Cricket Wireless for $200. Now, the company has announced its latest smartphone with entry-level specifications, which is named as Alcatel Streak. The Alcatel Streak smartphone has a pocket-friendly design that allows for simple one-hand navigation. It will be available for purchase from the carrier like Cricket Wireless and is offering the price at just $29.99 with activation.

The Alcatel Streak smartphone features a crisp 4.5-inch FWVGA display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution and offers 218 PPI of pixel density. It comes powered by a 1.1Ghz quad-core processor for reliable performance and has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC paired with Adreno 304 Graphics. There is an 8GB internal storage and 1GB of RAM. There is an expandable memory via microSD card slot up to 32GB.

The device is offering data plans with the smartphone such as unlimited internet data for $70 per month, 10 GB of data for Pro at $60 per month, 5 GB of data for Smart at $50 per month and 2.5 GB of data for Basic at $40 per month. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE network that keeps you connected were you journey takes you. The other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro USB port, 3.5mm audio jack, A-GPS and FM Radio.

As per as cameras are concerned, it packs a 5-megapixel rear image sensor with LED flash, which can record videos in 720p at 30 frames per second.
