Alcatel Idol 4 with VR Experience Kit now available with Cricket Wireless for $200

Alcatel Idol 4 is the latest offering from the company with offers great specs for its price. And now, Cricket Wireless has just released the device with a VR Experience kit. The VR experience is priced $200 from the carrier, and you can grab one today. The device will come with Cricket’s smartphone plans. But the carrier is not selling the device separately, so if you are looking to pick one up then, you have to do so with the VR Experience kit only.

But on the other hand, if you already own the device, and you just want the VR headset, then you can get the headset for as little as $50 from the cricket stores. Talking about specs, the device features a 5.2-inch display on the front and comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed out of the box. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor and packs 3GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of onboard internal storage. The device is also equipped with a 2,610 mAh battery.

In terms of camera, we are looking at a 13-meagpixel rear facing camera and an 8-megapixel front facing shooter. The device will come with exclusive Alcatel VR store app. The company unveiled the Idol 4 at MWC 2016 in Barcelona, along with the slightly more higher-spec Alcatel Idol 4S. The Idol 4s comes with a 5.5-inhc display with a QuadHD resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC and packs 3GB of RAM. It has 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to a 512GB via microSD card. The device is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery.
