Xiaomi Launches Mi Band 3 with 20 Days Battery Life for Rs 1,999

Back in September 2016, Xiaomi launched the Mi Band 2 fitness tracker in India for Rs 1,999. Its been two years and the company is now launching its successor called Mi Band 3. The Mi Band 3 was originally launched in China in may this year. Today, the company is bringing it to the Indian market. Just the earlier Mi Bands, the new Mi Band 3 also comes with an aggressive price tag of Rs 1,999.

With the Mi Band 3, the company has approached premium looking curved design with 2.5D curved glass on the top. It comes with a bigger 0.78-inch OLED display with 128 by 80 pixels resolution and touch support. Also, the company is still offering the touch button with tactile feedback. The large display shows the date, time, real-time heart rate, daily step count, and more. Apart from the fitness data, the Mi Band 3 also shows notifications, caller ID, and reminders.

It can also show up to 3-day weather forecast using the data from the paired smartphone. The Mi Band 3 comes with Bluetooth 4.2 LE connectivity to pair the Android and iOS smartphone. When synced with the Mi Fit app, the user can get the detailed statistics about his fitness, sleep, and heart rate. Since the capsule is removable, the users can easily change the straps. It weighs just 20 grams and is water resistant up to 50m (5ATM).

It packs a 110mAh Li-Ion polymer battery that is mentioned to give up to 20 days of battery life. The silicone strap comes in Black color, but the users can buy the other colored bands separately.
