Xiaomi Mi Band 3 Launching Exclusively on Amazon India on September 27th

Xiaomi has been teasing to launch five new products in India on September 27th. From the teaser images posted on Twitter, we can expect those products to be the new Mi Band 3 fitness tracker, Mi Home Security Camera, Mi Air Purifier Pro, Mi Travel Suitcase, and new-gen Mi TVs. Now, the Mi Band 3 listing on Amazon India confirms it to be Amazon exclusive. The Mi Band 3 was already launched in China. There is also a Mi Band 3 NFC variant which comes with mobile payment support.

The Mi Band 3 listing on Amazon India confirms it to come with a larger display, longer battery life, and more advanced sensors. We don’t expect the company to launch the NFC variant here in India. Talking about the specifications, the new Mi Band 3 comes with a 0.78-inch OLED color display with 128 x 80 pixels resolution. Unlike the earlier launched Mi Bands, the new Mi Band 3 comes with curved glass on the top.

Though there is a button on the top, the display on this new fitness tracker also supports touch. It is water-resistant up to 5ATM (50 Meters) and comes with Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity to pair with Android and iOS smartphones. The user can get all the all fitness information and control settings through the Mi Fit app. The 110mAh battery on this band is said to give more than 20 days of battery life with normal usage.
