Wileyfox Swift and Storm smartphones

Today we are going a hear a new name in the smartphone industry, and out of routine we are now seeing a new UK-based smartphone manufacturer, Wileyfox debuting with two Cyanogen-powered smartphones, Swift and Storm. The company wants to compete with major manufacturers like Samsung and Apple by providing high-end technology at much lower price than what others offered. The company follows online-only sales model like Xiaomi and OnePlus to cut-down the commissions that help to provide devices at lower prices.

While unveiling the brand, Nick Muir, CEO, Wileyfox, said, “We have decided we wanted to offer a bit more choice into the market.” He also added “These handsets are not expensive, but we can still make use of high-end components.” Both the device will be running on Cyanogen OS 12.1, and these are the first devices to run on Cyanogen 12.1 out-of-the-box.
