Sony C5 Ultra with 13MP Selfie Camera, 2930mAh Battery, Android Lollipop Announced for Rs.29,990

Sony has announced the Xperia C5 Ultra in India for a price of Rs.29,990. The device comes packed with a 13MP camera sensors accompanied with LED flash on both, front and rear sides. Asus has earlier launched the Zenfone Selfie with the same 13MP rear and front camera but costs only half of what Xperia C5 Ultra costs. The company has first unveiled the Xperia C5 Ultra on August 3rd along with Xperia M5. The Xperia M5 also sports a 13MP front-facing camera.
The Xperia C5 Ultra sports a 6-inch Full HD (1920×1080) IPS display and powered by 64-bit MediatTek MT6752 octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz coupled with Mali760 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The thin bezel on both sides of the display doesn’t make the device feel heavy even with the bigger 6-inch display.
There is 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card expansion support up to 128GB. It has a 2,930mAh battery that delivers up to 14 hours of talk time and lasts upto 728 hours on standby. The device measures 164.2 x 79.6 x 8.2 mm and weighs. It also comes with few features like ‘Mini Mode’ where you just need to slide the finger diagonally and the screen shrink the screen to 4-inch.
The device comes in two variants, single SIM and dual SIM, but the company choose to launch only dual SIM variant in India. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box with Sony Xperia UI on top it,
Connectivity of both the device includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0. The Xperia Ultra C5 comes in White, Black and Soft Mint colors. The device will be available across India via online and offline stores in the next few days.
