Oukitel U10 with 1080p Display, 3GB RAM, Fingerprint Sensor is on Sale for $160

Oukitel is one of the most interesting Chinese smartphone manufacturers and even earlier we have talked about one of their smartphone Oukitel U6. The U6 sports dual displays, one is the normal IPS display and other one is the E-ink display that is first featured on Yotaphone and Yotaphone 2. It is priced at only $240 which is less than half of the price what Yotaphone 2 costs.

It is also expected that the company might launch a device with a massive 10,000mAh battery, but that didn’t happen. The company has launched only the Oukitel U10 and also its first smartwatch ‘Oukitel A28.’ Talking about the Oukitel U10, it features some high-end specs and is priced at only $160.

The Oukitel U10 features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS display with a 2.5D curved glass on top of it. Under the hood is a 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM. It has 16GB of inbuilt storage and microSD card support for further expansion.

The device sports a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and autofocus, and also a protective coating on top of the lens to prevent it from scratches. It has 5MP front camera that is decent for selfie-shooting. This device supports dual sim dual standby and supports 4G LTE that become basic connectivity feature on most of the devices. The other connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port.

It comes packed with the 2,850mAh that might be enough to serve you for a day of mixed usage. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box. The device also features a rear-facing fingerprint sensor just below the rear camera module. Biometric security is only offered on flagship devices, but with this device everyone can use this feature.

The device is just 7.9mm thick and with a metal frame around the device the device gives a premium feel. The design is almost similar to that of iPhone 6. The phone is available in the colors – Black (Dark Gray) and Champagne.
