Vodafone offers 67% more 4G, 3G Data to pre-paid Customers under same Price Packs

Recently we have been seeing a lot of price cuts on the data plans, etc. from telecoms service providers in India. We saw Airtel and Idea cellular slashing their prices or rather you can say offering more data etc. for the current prices. And now on the same lines, we have yet another service provider who is following them. This time, it is Vodafone.

So earlier this week, Vodafone India slashed effective data rates of its 4G, 3G packs for its pre-paid customers. According to reports, the company is now offering up to 67 percent more benefits for the same price. So this is again on the same lines of what Airtel did last month. They also offered more value for the same price, instead of slashing the prices. Either way, it’s an advantage for consumers as we expected this would happen in near future.

So now, as per these revised rates, the 3GB 3G/4G monthly recharge pack which was offered by the company, will fetch you 5GB for the same price that is 650 INR. This is a 67 percent increase. Similarly, the 449 INR 3G/4G pack now offers 50 percent more data by increasing the data benefit to 3GB from 2GB. Also, the 999 INR 3G/4G data pack will now offer 10GB of data which is 54 percent more.

As far as small data packs are concerned, they have also been updated. The 39 INR 2G sachet pack will now offer 225MB instead of 160MB. And the 12 INR 3G/4G data packs with 1-day validity will now offer 50MB instead of 30MB. So looking at all this, it looks like Vodafone is also aiming to retain its users with the growing competition in the market. Needless to say that the Reliance Jio is also going to be launched now on August 15th so this is the right time for other service providers to launch these offers and retain their users.
