TP-Link Neffos C5L, C5 & C5 Max smartphones with 4G LTE Officially Announced

A couple of weeks ago, TP-Link has hinted about their re-entry into the smartphone market by launching Neffos branded smartphone. Today, the company has officially announced three new smartphones called Neffos C5L, C5, and C5 Max. All the three device comes with entry-level and mid-range specifications which make them the direct competitors for many other Chinese brands that have launched few devices with amazing specs and aggressive pricing.

On the occasion of announcing Neffos smartphones, Justin Tu, Vice President of TP-LINK said,

Talking about the devices, the Neffos C5L is smallest among the three with a 4.5-inch display with FWVGA resolution IPS display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz and coupled with Adreno 304 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It has 8GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.

The device supports dual SIM dual standby and supports 4G LTE and other basic connectivity options. It sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front camera for selfies. The device is kept powered on by the 2,000mAh battery that can give decent battery life. It measures 10.15mm thickness and weighs 154 grams.

The TP-Link Neffos C5 packs a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720) IPS display. Under the hood is the 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 1GB of built-in storage. This dual SIM device is backed by a 2,200mAh battery. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop even though few of the latest devices coming with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

It has an 8MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. Connectivity options on this device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The device is slimmer and lighter than C5L by measuring 8.8 mm thickness and weighing 141 grams.

The Neffos C5 Max is the most powerful device among the three that sports a Full HD (1920 x 1080) display. It is powered by the MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB of internal storage with a MicroSD card slot for expanding up to 32GB.

It has a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash that can also record video in Full HD resolution. On the front is the same 5MP camera as on the Neffos C5. The device is packed with a huge 3,045mAh battery that can easily give more than a day of usage. The device supports dual SIM dual standby with 4G LTE support.

All the three devices will be available in Grey and White color options. There is no information mentioned about the pricing or the availability of the devices. But the company is expected to launch in first half of 2016, stay tuned for more updates.
