Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 7 phablet today in India. The Note 7 phablet is priced at about 59,900 INR. But interestingly the company also launched two other products along with the Note 7 phablet. These two devices are the Gear IconX and the Gear Fit 2. They also announced the new Gear VR for the Galaxy Note 7, which is priced at 7,290 INR.
Talking about the Gear IconX, these are wireless earbuds that are independent of each other. These resemble earplugs which offer quality audio without the hassle of dealing with wires. Also if you have ever seen Moto Hint before, then you will notice that these looks exactly the same. The earbuds come with three different sizes of ear tips and wingtips. The earbuds also enable tracking of data such as distance covered, speed, time was taken, heart rate and calories burned. And off course, all these data can be synced to the S-health app as well.
The earbuds include a Voice Guide feature, which can provide voice feedback to users about the workout progress. They connect via Bluetooth and have inbuilt storage for up to 1000 MP3 files. The Gear IconX is priced at 13,490 INR.
Now talking about the Gear Fit 2, the Gear Fit 2 band comes with an embedded GPS tracker and a heart rate monitor. According to the company, the Gear Fit 2 has an ergonomic, sleek and slim design and feels good in the hand. The device also sports a Super AMOLED curved display with a high-resolution color touchscreen and comes with Auto Activity tracking feature for tracking your activities like running, walking, cycling or using a rowing machine or elliptical trainer.
