LeEco Le 2 & Le Max 2 without 3.5mm Audio Port Launched in India

After launching the LeEco Le 2, Le 2 Pro, and Le Max 2 Superphones in China in April this year, today the company has made them official here in India. All the three smartphones skip the regular 3.5mm audio port and the USB Type-C port can be used for connecting headphones. The company came with a new technology called Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) that brings the uncompressed audio, unlike normal analog audio.All the three devices run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based customized EUI laid on top.

LeEco Le 2

The LeEco Le 2  is the successor for Le 1 that was last year. It comes with an all metal body and features a fingerprint sensor on the rear.  The device sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and comes powered by Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage but misses the MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. In the camera department, the Le 2 features a 16MP rear camera with PDAF and f/2.0 aperture.

On the front is an 8MP sensor for capturing selfies. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery which can last at least a day of usage and also supports fast charging. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE along with VoLTE. The device is priced very aggressively without compromising over the build quality or the specifications.

 

LeEco Le Max 2

The Le Max 2 is the successor for the Le Max that was launched at a price of Rs. 32,999 in India. It comes with a slightly larger 5.7-inch display with Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor along with Adreno 530 GPU. It comes in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants with 32GB and 64GB internal storage respectively. The device comes with the same set of cameras as Le 2 Pro, 21MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. It is powered by the 3,100mAh battery that also supports Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging.

The Le 2 is priced at Rs. 11,999 while the Le Max 2 is priced at Rs. 22,999 for 4GB variant. Both the device will be available exclusively through LeMall and Flipkart and the registration starts from June 20th. LeEco is also offering one year of premium membership of Supertainment service worth Rs. 4,900 with both Le 2 and Le Max 2.
