ZTE Nubia Z11 Max with 4GB RAM & 4000mAh Battery Launched in China

In April this year, ZTE‘s sub-brand Nubia launched the Nubia Z11 Mini and now the company had officially launched the Nubia Z11 Max at an event in China. It is the biggest smartphone in the Z11 series with a 6-inch display while the rumors suggested the Nubia Z11 to come with a 5.5-inch display. While the Z11 Mini came with glass body, the Z11 Max features an all metal body. The device comes with dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE along with VoLTE support. With the large display, the device offers better multitasking with split screen support.

It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with customized Nubia UI 3.9.9 laid on top and the Marshmallow update is expected soon. The company also claims that the users can use two WeChat account on the same device. The 2.5D 6-inch Super AMOLED display comes Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. Under the hood is the 64-bit Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor along with Adreno 510 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot.

On the camera front, the Z11 Max has a 16MP rear camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. For selfies, it includes an 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.4 aperture and 1.4um pixel size on the front. These are the same set of cameras as on Nubia Z11 Mini. The 6-inch Nubia Z11 Max is backed by a 4,000mAh battery that also NeoPower V2.0 fast charging. ZTE claims that the device can last more than one and half day of usage plus and 10 minutes of charging can provide 6 hours of talk time.

There is a fingerprint sensor placed on the rear of the devices, similar to the Z11 Mini. The rear camera on Nubia Z11 is placed on the top left corner while on Nubia Z11 Max, it is in the middle of the device sitting above the fingerprint sensor. It measures just 159.15 x 82.25 x 7.4 mm and weighs 185 grams. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The device is priced at 1999 Yuan and the sale starts from June 16th.

The company also announced the Cristiano Ronaldo’s Limited Edition Nubia Z11 Max and Nubia Z11 Mini that will be available in limited quantities. It comes in Gold, Silver and Gray color options. The limited edition Nubia Z1 Max costs almost 2799 Yuan and might come with the players signature. Recently Huawei also launched the Messi signed Mate 8 in China.
