Panasonic P75 with HD Display & 5000mAh Battery Launched at Rs. 5,990
After launching the 4G VoLTE enabled Eluga A2 with a 4,000mAh battery in India, Panasonic launched a new affordable smartphone called Panasonic P75. The device is priced at just Rs. 5,990 and comes with entry-level specifications. It offers dual SIM dual standby and but misses the 4G LTE connectivity. There are few cheaper options like LYF Flame 3 and Flame 6 that offer 4G LTE but compromises over the other specifications. It features a 5-inch IPS display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. The P75 comes powered by an unknown quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of internal storage along with expandable storage option. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Sail UI laid on top. On the camera front, it has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. The USP of the device is its whopping 5,000mAh battery which can easily last at least a couple of days since the device packs basic specifications.
Recently another Indian smartphone manufacturer, Spice launched the Spice Electro with 5,000mAh battery and is priced at Rs. 5,999. It has a larger 5.5-inch HD display and is includes 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. There is also a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 3.2MP front camera. ASUS also came up with the second generation Zenfone Max with the same 5,000mAh battery but it is powered by Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor. It is priced at Rs. 9,999 and is exclusively sold through Flipkart.

Along with a higher price tag, the new Zenfone Max packs 2GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. It runs on latest Zen UI based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. The Zenfone Max features a 13MP rear camera with laser autofocus and dual tone LED flash. Additionally, the device also supports 4G LTE connectivity which missing on the earlier mentioned devices.
