Honor launched the new Honor 8 smartphone in China, in the month July. This is quite an interesting smartphone as far as the features and specs are concerned. The smartphone comes with a beautiful metallic frame, and it has 2.5D glass on either side of the device. It looks absolutely stunning. Honor 8 is not just about looks, it has some interesting features as well, which makes it stand out from the usual set of smartphones which we have these days from plenty of other manufacturers.

The company had a press event earlier today, where they proudly announced that they have sold over 1.5 million units of the device. Well, this is a huge number considering the fact that it’s been only a couple of month the device has launched. On the same stage, the company’s vice-president Zhao Ming also reported that they have sold over 100 million Honor handsets in total till the date. Do make a note that this sub-brand was introduced 999 days ago, so it is definitely an impressive number indeed.

No doubt that the handsets are so popular as they offer value-for-money handsets which come with an affordable price tag for anyone and everyone to purchase. It is also worth mentioning that the Honor smartphones offer great value for money with some sleek looking premium devices and some serious power under the hood. Honor 8 is one of the best offering from the company yet, and we expect them to unveil more devices like this. Surely, we do expect that the company will be able to deliver similar products and continue to grow further.

As far as Honor 8 is concerned, if you didn’t know, it comes with 5.2″ FHD LTPS display on the front. The device is powered by 2.3GHz Kirin 950 octa-core processor built on 16nm architecture. It comes with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage options as well. The most noticeable feature is the dual rear cameras, which is slowly becoming somewhat like an industry standard. The smartphone is yet to launch in India, so stay tuned for more detailed info on this.
