Acer has announced a new gaming smartphone called Predator 6 powered by Helio X20 processor, which is the world’s first chipset to feature 10 cores. We have been seeing a lot of phones recently with the Octa-Core processors but this launch by Acer is going to make Acer lead the competition. It’s surprising that there is no price announcement but no doubt this should be somewhere above $500 considering these specifications.
Acer had earlier announced a Triple – SIM card phone which was the first & now this phone with one of the highest specifications. It also features a 4GB of RAM & is targeted towards the Gaming users who need better performance. The Predator 6 comes with a 21MP rear camera.
The device features four front-facing speakers for better gaming experience, even the device also gives a haptic feedback while playing games, as per the company the device gives same feedback as the gaming controller.
As this specially designed for gaming, you can enjoy extreme gaming with lag free experience. The deca-core Helio X20 is built on 20nm process with two Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 2.5GHz, four Cortex-A53 cores at 2.0GHz and the remaining four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.4GHz. According to MediaTek the processor would be available from December which is when we can expect the phone to be available in the market.
