A new ZTE smartphone called Blade V9 is accidentally listed on the company’s Spanish website. The ZTE Blade V9 will be first ever smartphone from ZTE to feature new 18:9 display technology. It is the successor to Blade V8 launched at the CES 2017. Now, the company might officially unveil the new Blade V9 at the upcoming CES 2018. The device sports a metal frame with reflective glass back body.
On the front is a large 5.7-inch In-cell display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. There are smaller bezels on the top and bottom of the display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz and comes coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The ZTE Blade V9 will be available in three different variants – 2GB RAM + 16GB storage, 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage.
There is also a MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage on this device. Talking about the cameras, the Blade V9 features 16MP + 5MP dual rear camera setup with f/1.8 aperture and PDAF. On the front is a 13MP single sensor for selfies and video calls. It is backed by a 3,200mAh non-removable battery. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear of the smartphone. It runs on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. It measures 151.4 x 70.6 x 7.5 mm and weighs 140 grams. The ZTE Blade V9 will be available in Gold and Black color options. The listing is now removed and there is no information about the availability and pricing of the device.
