ZTE has recently launched the mid-range ZTE Axon 7 Max smartphone with 6-inch Full HD display and Snapdragon 625 SoC. Now a new device named ZTE BV0800 is listed on GFXBench revealing the key specifications of the device. One important information is that this new device will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The Popular ZTE Axon 7 which came with Android 6.0 Marshmallow is also said to be upgraded to latest Android OS in January 2017. The ZTE BV0800 is expected to be made official very soon and only then, we can confirm the device name and specs.

The ZTE BV0730 was launched in China as Blade A2 Plus; now we guess the BV0800 to be launched under the same ZTE Blade series. It comes with a 5.2-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. The device will be powered by Qualcomm octa-core clocked at 1.4GHz, and we expect this to be the Snapdragon 430 SoC with Adreno 505 GPU. This is the same processor that is used in the Xiaomi Redmi 3S priced at Rs. 6,999 and Asus Zenfone 3 Max priced at Rs. 17,999. The ZTE BV0800 also packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

It might also come with a MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage. The Axon 7 Mini that was launched at the IFA 2016 also came with a 5.2-inch Full HD display. It includes Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor while the RAM and storage remain same as on ZTE BV0800. Coming to the camera department, this device comes with a 13MP sensor on front and back of the device. Both the cameras are limited to just Full HD resolution while recording video. According to the listing, the device comes with a single SIM slot and comes with basic connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

Though it may feature a fingerprint sensor, it lacks NFC for making seamless virtual payments. Last week, ZTE launched the affordable CYMBAL-T flip phone in the U.S. Unlike the Samsung W2017, there are no premium specifications and it costs just $100. It comes with basic specifications like a 3.5-inch display, Snapdragon 210 SoC, 1GB RAM, and 8GB of storage. The device supports 4G LTE along with basic connectivity options. For camera enthusiasts in 2016, the 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera will be disappointing. The CYMBAL-T runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with customized UI laid on top.

The package also includes a car charger, protective case, apps pack, and 1200 minutes of voice plans. Talking about BV0800, there are no other details available about the device. But we might be seeing an all metal body which makes it more durable than a polycarbonate shell. In the next few weeks, Gionee is bringing Gionee S9 with dual rear cameras and another Chinese company; Vivo will be launching Vivo X9 & X9 Plus with dual front cameras. While there is no much design difference between the recently launched smartphones, the brands competing with one another by offering more and more powerful specifications. Till date, we already have a dozen smartphones with 6GB of RAM.
