Early this month, China-based ZTE unveiled its latest flagship smartphone — the ZTE Axon 10 Pro. ZTE has also showcased its 5G enabled Axon 10 Pro earlier as well. The company had also launched its entry-level smartphone — the ZTE Blade A7 smartphone in China as well. And now, ZTE has further come up with another smartphone adding to the current portfolio — the ZTE Blade A5, which is currently available in the Russian market.
The ZTE Blade A5 sports a 5.45-inch Full HD+ display that has an aspect ratio of 18:9, which is further enclosed in a conventional design with bezels running on all sides of the screen similar to older budget smartphones from the company. The ZTE Blade A5, under the hood, is powered by an eight-core SC9863A processor that is manufactured by UNISOC semiconductor company. The Blade A5 is further equipped by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory that is additionally expandable via a microSD card of up to 256GB.
The Blade A5 further packs in a single rear camera comprising of a 13MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 alongside the LED flash as well. On the front, the Blade A5 is equipped with an 8MP selfie shooter that has an aperture of f/2.4. The cameras moreover support multiple modes that include HDR mode and Panorama shots.
As for the battery capacity, the ZTE Blade A5 is kept alive by a 2600mAh battery that charges via micro USB port, and on the connectivity front, the device comes with dual SIM support and also features a 3.5mm headphone jack. And, lastly the Blade A5 ships with Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box, which further runs on ZTE’s MIFavor 9.0 UI.
