ZTE Blade A2 Plus is a new device that has been launched in China by ZTE, which is a Chinese multinational telecommunication equipment and system company. Recently the company has released devices like ZTE Warp 7, ZTE Axon Max 2 and ZTE Blade A506. The handset is available in 3GB as well as 4GB RAM variant and is priced at RMB 1499 (Approx $225, Rs. 15,000) and RMB 1699 (Approx $255, Rs. 17000) respectively.
The Blade A2 Plus comes with 5.5 inches of IS LCD Capacitive touch screen display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 Pixels giving a pixel density of 404PPI. Under the hood, there is a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750T Octa Core processor coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and Mali T860 GPU. This is a Hybrid Dual SIM and 4G mobile which supports networks like GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz used for 2G functionality and HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 MHz used for 3G, and there is LTE 900 / 1200 MHz bands for 4G connectivity.
On the camera front, the device comes with 13 MP camera sensor on the rear accompanied with 8 MP front facing camera. The onboard memory of the device is 32GB which can be extended via microSD card slot. The Blade A2 Plus comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box, and there is a 4900 mAh battery on the back.
There are sensors like Accelerometer, Proximity, Compass and location while there are other connectivity options like Micro USB 2.0, GPS, A-GPS. Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Bluetooth, and 3.5mm jack. This handset will be competing against the devices like, Lenovo Zuk Z1, Samsung Galaxy J7, Oppo F1, Huawei Honor 5X and Xiaomi Mi Max which are in the similar price bracket.
