The Shenzhen based smartphone manufacturer ZOPO had launched a new mid-end smartphone ‘ZOPO Speed 7 Plus‘ in India. This is the successor for the ZOPO Speed 7 that was launched earlier in August. The ZOPO Speed 7 Plus will be available across India via retailers and also sold online exclusively through Amazon India.
The device comes built into a metal body with a brushed finish on the back which gives a nice grip to hold onto the device. It comes with some good mid-range specifications, but the pricing of Rs.14,999 is what kills it when compared to the other devices like Coolpad Note 3.
It sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with very thin bezels. The device comes powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor along with 3GB of RAM. There will be 16GB of internal storage and can be further expandable via a microSD card. The device comes with dual SIM dual standby support and offers 4G LTE connectivity.
Talking about the camera, there is a 13MP rear camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and LED flash, on the front it has a 5MP selfie camera. The Face Beauty 4.0 feature on this device makes the captured images look more beautiful. It comes with a 3,000mAh Li-polymer battery that is expected to give 18 hours of talk time and last upto 300 hours on standby. The device runs on in-house ZUI OS based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Connectivity on this device includes 4G LTE along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and MicroUSB 2.0. Comparing with Rs.8,999 priced Coolpad Note 3, the Speed 7 Plus comes with better display and superior build quality. The other specifications of both the devices remain same even with almost 40% price difference. Stay tuned for unboxing and the review of the device in the coming days.
