Intex Cloud Swift with 3GB RAM and 5MP Selfie Camera Launched at Rs.8,888

Intex, the Indian smartphone manufacturer, had launched a smartphone with decent specifications at an affordable price. Few weeks back, the company had launched a new smartphone called Intex Aqua Ace which is priced at Rs.12,999. This is the first smartphone from the company to feature 3GB RAM and today there is a new device launched called ‘Intex Aqua Swift‘ with 3GB RAM.

Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Intex Mobiles said, “Online space is clearly the central destination for next generation of consumers. Intex has launched a category defying product, Cloud Swift exclusively online. We are happy to partner with one of India’s leading e-commerce portal – Snapdeal and are sure that this exclusive association will offer consumers an unmatchable experience at a never before price-point.”

The device is priced at just Rs.8,888 making the device one of the most affordable smartphones with 3GB of RAM. Recently, Coolpad had launched Note 3 smartphone with 3GB RAM and is priced at Rs.8,999. Talking about the other specifications, it sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with Dragontrail Glass protection. Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with 3GB of RAM.

There is 16GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB. On the camera front, it has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The 2,500mAh Li-Polymer battery on this device can give 7-8 hours of talk time and lasts upto 400-500 hours on standby.

It also supports 21 Indian languages and comes with plenty of pre-loaded apps which fills up the device storage. The device will be exclusively sold online through Snapdeal and will be available in Champagne and Grey colors. Along with 12 months of warranty, the company also added a 1-year of screen breakage warranty.
