Ziox Quix Flash VoLTE Smartphone with 5″ Display Launched at Rs. 4,444

Ziox, the little known Indian mobile phone manufacturer, joined the list of Indian brands launching the low-cost VoLTE smartphones. The Ziox Quix Flash is the newly launched smartphone from the company. It is priced at Rs. 4,444 and comes with VoLTE support for using with the Jio 4G SIM. The device also supports 21 Indian regional languages on the system level. It c0mes with polycarbonate shell with a textured finished on the rear. On the front is a 5-inch FWVGA display with 850 x 480 pixels resolution and is surrounded by thick bezels on all the four sides.
Under the hood is an unknown quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. Unlike most other low-cost smartphones, the Quix Flash packs 1GB of RAM which can be good enough for basic usage. There is just 8GB of onboard storage, but that can be expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card slot. We can’t expect the cameras on these low-cost devices to perform better, however, the device sports a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash on the rear and a 2MP fixed focus camera on the front for selfies and video calls.
It is backed by a 2,450mAh battery and measures 9.62mm thickness. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio port, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The device supports dual SIM dual standby, but the 4G LTE connectivity is limited to one of the two SIM at any time. It is sold exclusively through Shopclues and comes in Black and Champagne Gold color options. Earlier this year, the company also launched the metal built smartphone called Ziox Astra Metal 4G for just Rs. 5,553.
Apart from a bigger 3,000mAh battery, the Ziox Astra Metal 4G came with same specifications as seen on the Quix Flash. Micromax has also reportedly launched its most affordable 4G VoLTE smartphone, Bharat 2 for just Rs. 2,999. With just 512MB of RAM, the Bharat 2 might not give the same experience as with the Ziox Quix Flash. If you want to continue with a feature phone along with the Jio 4G SIM, then there are a couple of VoLTE supported feature phones from Lava and Micromax.
