Zen has launched a new device called as the Zen Cinemax 2 Plus for a price of Rs. 3,777 in India via shopclues.com exclusively. Zen mobiles are well known for making affordable handsets in India for over 15 years in has also launched the first 3D phone called as the ZEN S30 with pre-loaded content and also seen a rapid growth in the past few years. Coming to the specifications of the Zen Cinemax 2 Plus, the device comes with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD that gives a pixel density of 170 ppi which is very low when compared to many other budget oriented devices. Under the hood, there is a Quad-core 1.3 GHz processor, coupled with 1 GB of RAM. The handset comes out of the box with Android 5.1 Lollipop and might not get the further Marshmallow updates.

There is a 5MP fixed focus camera on the rear, accompanied with 3.2 MP camera on the front for video calling and selfies. It also has features like Geotagging, Autofocus, Panorama and can record HD videos at 30 frames per second. There are the connectivity options like Bluetooth v2.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and microUSB 2.0 and comes with sensors like Accelerometer, Proximity, and Ambient light sensor. The device will be available in Black color variant and supports Dual SIM connectivity.

The Zen Cinemax 2 Plus will be competing against the devices like Lenovo A2010, Micromax Canvas A1, Samsung Tizen Z3. Infocus M260, Xolo Era 4G, Asus Zenfone Go and Lava P7 which are in similar price range.
