XOLO, the Indian smartphone manufacturer has just launched a Windows Phone smartphone, XOLO Win Q1000 with a 5-inch HD display, and the successor to Win Q900S comes with some decent specs under the hood, all for the price set at Rs. 8499. The product is already listed on company’s official website, and although we don’t see the phone available in the retail stores, it is expected soon.

Internally, the Win Q1000 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor clocking at 1.2 GHz, along with 1GB RAM. The device comes with an internal storage of 8GB, while having a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion to 32GB. It runs Windows Phone 8.1 OS, and will be getting the Windows 10 update in future.

On the camera aspect, the XOLO Win Q1000 has a 8-megapixel rear and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera is assisted with LED flash, and can record 1080p videos. It has a PureCel image sensor and fF/2.0 aperture.

This is a Dual-SIM smartphone with 3G connectivity, and other options include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, there is a 2200 mAh battery packed in, which the company claims to be giving about 12 hours of talktime on 3G, and up to 500 hours of standby time on 3G.

For Windows Phone fans, the phone look quite similar to Blu Win HD. That is actually good because the design looks decent and for that price, you are getting a good list of specs, especially with Snapdragon 200 with 1 gig of RAM able to usually handle Windows Phone OS pretty well.

No official word about the availability of XOLO Win Q1000, and we are awaiting the details, which will be updated when we get to know about it.
