`Xolo has launched another entry level device dubbed as Xolo Era 1X which will be the latest entry to the budget level market. Earlier we have seen Xolo Era X 4G, Xolo Era 4K, Xolo One HD, Xolo A1010 devices from the company that are powered by Android OS and Xolo Win Q1000 was powered with Windows operating system that could not make much impact. The company has been leaping forward to compete against some tech giants in the market and in the process releasing many budget friendly devices to attract the customers.
The Xolo Era 1X will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box which is a good inclusion considering its price range. Under the hood, there is a 1.3 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832A processor coupled with 1GB RAM. To power the device there is a 2500 mAh Li-Po battery on the back that claims to offers 22 hours of talk time and 185 hours of standby.
The handset flaunts a 5.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels at a PPI of 294 pixels per inch. The onboard memory of the device is at 8GB that can further be extended up to 32GB via miscroSD card. There are other regular sensors on the device like the Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor and Accelerometer.
The device is a dual SIM variant that supports 4G LTE, and other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. On the camera front, the device features an 8MP rear-facing camera with auto-focus and LED flash, accompanied with 5MP camera on the front for video calling. This device will be competing against many other devices like Lenovo A2010, Micromax Canvas A1, Samsung Tizen Z3. Infocus M260, Xolo Era 4G, Asus Zenfone Go and Lava P7 which are in similar price range.
This handset will be available in multiple colour options like Black – Gunmetal and Gold – Brown.
