LG has finally unveiled their latest flagship smartphone, the V20. We have been seeing a bunch of rumours about the device lately, and now the device is officially revealed in all its glory. Essentially, the V20 is a successor to the previously launched V10, and it upgrades the existing device in many ways. The first thing to note here is, V20 is the first device to ship with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. And not just that, the V20 packs some other interesting specs & features as well.

When you talk about the features, the device actually comes with a second display on the front and also most importantly, it also comes with a dual-camera system. LG also claims that the device caters to Audiophiles. And yes, LG has retained the Headphone jack, unlike many other manufacturers. The V20 comes with a 32-bit hi-fi quad DAC and according to the company, this is the first for any smartphone. So what is that exactly? Well, in simple words, let’s just say it will sound excellent. The device supports a number of lossless audio formats like FLAC, DSD, AIFF, and ALAC.

Now talking about the specs of the device, the V20 comes with a 5.7-inch display Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixel) display with a tiny Second Screen on the top. This second display will show the notifications or time, or you can even display your signature, just like we saw last year. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and it packs 4GB of RAM & 64GB internal storage Also, as mentioned earlier, the device comes with a dual-camera system on its back. The main sensor is a 16-megapixel module that features optical image stabilisation and a fast, f/1.8 lens. The secondary camera is a wide-angle (135-degree) lens based on an 8MP sensor and a f/2.4 lens.

You can switch between both easily from the camera interface. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel sensor, which is also good for those wide angle selfies, etc. No crazy dual-camera on the front here as the rumours suggested. The device also comes with a 3200 mAh battery, which keeps everything powered. And as far as pricing and availability go, we don’t have much info from the company so we will have to wait for some time. But judging by the previous records, it is expected that the device should be priced comparatively less than the competitions outside.
