Xiaomi’s subsidiary BlackShark has already launched two gaming smartphones in China called as BlackShark and BlackShark Helo. Recently, the company has started teasing its upcoming gaming smartphone. The first teaser image posted on Weibo confirms the device to feature Liquid Cool 3.0 technology. Now, the device is spotted on Geekbench with the model BlackShark AAA. The listing also mentioned the upcoming BlackShark smartphone to come with 12GB of RAM.
Back in January, a new BlackShark smartphone with the codename BlackShark Skywalker was also spotted on GeekBench. It then showed the device to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform and 8GB of RAM. The device might come with Android 9.0 Pie OS out of the box with Joy UI skin on top. Since the company also started its operations in India, we can expect the company to make its debut in India with the upcoming BlackShark 2.
As of now, there is no information regarding the exact launch date of this device. However, we should be knowing more details in the coming days. Currently, the company is selling the BlackShark Helo in China and European countries. It was first launched in China in October last year. It comes with a 6.01-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. On the rear, there is also an RGB backlit logo.
It comes with 12MP + 20MP dual rear cameras with f/1.75 aperture and a 20MP single front camera with f/2.2 aperture. The BlackShark Helo also comes equipped with front-facing stereo speakers for Hi-Fi audio output.
