Xiaomi Unveils it’s New Redmi Note 6 Pro in Indonesia

Xiaomi has unveiled its successor to the Redmi Note 5 Pro – the Redmi Note 6 Pro in Indonesia. While the predecessor was introduced to the Indian market early this year, this new Note 6 Pro has been launched at an event held by Xiaomi in Indonesia.
The new Redmi Note 6 Pro features a 6.26-inch 19:9 notched display that comes in FHD+ (2280×1080) resolution with a display density of 403PPI. The display is covered with a 2.5D curved glass along with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
The new Note 6 Pro boasts AI-powered two dual camera setup. Firstly, on the rear, it features 12MP+5MP cameras (f/1.9, f/2.2 apertures) with Dual Pixel Autofocus and AI dynamic bokeh effects. On the front, it comes with a 20MP+2MP AI Portrait Selfie cameras (with f/2.0, f/2.2 apertures).
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is powered by a 14nm octa-core Snapdragon 636 Kryo processor and an Adreno 509 GPU. The Note 6 Pro further comes in 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of onboard storage variants. It is fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery that supports fast charge.
On the connectivity front, the Note 6 Pro comes with micro USB with OTG support, a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top and Bluetooth 5.0. The 4G Dual SIM powered Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with 3-choose-2 hybrid SIM tray (nanoSIM + nanoSIM/microSD), microSD card expansion is upto 256GB. And, lastly, the Redmi Note 6 Pro ships with Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 9.6.6 out-of-the-box.
As for the pricing, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is priced at Rp 2,899,000 (roughly Rs 14,261) for 3GB/32GB variant and Rp3,299,000 (roughly Rs 16,229) for the 4GB/64GB variant.
