Xiaomi Teases Mi CC 9 & Mi CC 9 Meitu Edition Smartphones with 32MP Selfie Cameras
Xiaomi has already confirmed to launch the new CC series smartphones on July 2nd in China. The company will be launching the Mi CC 9 & Mi CC 9 Meitu Edition smartphones on that day. The complete specifications of both devices are already leaked online. As leaks suggested, the Mi CC 9 smartphones will be coming with a 32MP selfie camera on the front. Based on the leaks, the devices sport AMOLED displays on the front with a waterdrop notch.
As per the leaks, the 32MP selfie camera on the Mi CC 9 Meitu Edition will be optically stabilized. Both the Mi CC 9 smartphones will be using the Samsung GD1 sensor. Xiaomi The Redmi Y3 priced at Rs 9,999 is the most affordable smartphone to use the 32MP Samsung GD1 sensor. The devices will also come loaded with several software features to enhance the selfies. We expect the camera app on this device to come loaded with features from the Meitu’s beauty apps.
Talking about the other specifications, the Mi CC 9 smartphones will come powered by the Snapdragon 700 series chipsets. On the rear, we will be looking at 48MP triple camera setup on both the devices. While the Mi CC 9 is expected to sport 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor, the Mi CC 9 Meitu Edition will come equipped with 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor. The recently launched Redmi K20 also used the same 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor.
On the other hand, the company will also launch a Meitu-branded flagship smartphone with a flip camera featuring a triple camera setup. It is rumored to sport notch-less AMOLED display on the front and might come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform. Even though the device comes with Meitu branding, it will be designed and sold by Xioami. However, Meitu will work on improving the camera output of these upcoming smartphones.
