By tapping few times, you will enable the ‘Developer Options’ which can be seen in the ‘Additional Settings.’
Now scroll down to Window animation scale and disable it or reduce the point to 0.5X. You can see the change in the performance now, and you can alter these animation settings at any time.

Xiaomi releases MIUI updates on time to its users, and so Redmi Note 4G users should check for the updates under the ‘About Phone > System Updates.’ If at all there are any updates available, then download and install them which in turn fix minor bugs in your device and help to optimize the device.
Remove Cache From Apps
Every time you use a particular app, the background of the app stores cache in its memory. As the cache storage increases, it has an effect on the storage space on the device and at the same time on the performance. So, it is always advisable to clear the cache of each app from app manager.
Wipe Cache Partition and Factory Data Reset
You need to turn on your phone into recovery mode to access the wipe cache partition. Follow your device manual to get into the recovery mode and select the Wipe Cache Partition. Select Reboot system now after the partition process is completed. Now, your device will perform better than before, and you can see the difference by yourself.
You can also have ‘Factory Data Reset’ option in the recovery mode which will erase all the data from your phone and makes it a new device. Other than recovery mode, you can also find this option under ‘Additional Settings >Backup & Reset’. But, before proceeding to ‘Factory Data Reset’, make sure to take the backup of your data.
Uninstall Unnecessary Apps
Android users usually fill up their phones with several apps, out of which few are unnecessary. Those useless apps occupy space and also affect the battery charge, and as a result, decrease the performance of the device too. So, find out such apps and uninstall them from the app manager. Also, there will be few pre-installed apps in the device which also need to be uninstalled to get a better performance of the device.
