Redmi K20 is one of the most awaited devices for India which is set to be launched on the 17th of July. The device is now listed on Flipkart and confirms its availability via e-commerce Flipkart. Furthermore, the latest teaser also reveals few features of this upcoming device in India which includes triple camera set up on the rear with AI support along with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The handset also will be coming with the pop-up camera for selfies and will be powered with Snapdragon processor.
Initially launched in China in the month of May, the Redmi K20 series in now teased to be launched soon in India. The device is also excepted to be available via Mi store also but nothing is confirmed about the same yet. The device was launched in China and Mi 9T as the rebranded variant of it was launched in Spain a few weeks back. To remind you, the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro were launched with the same 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio which gives an aspect ratio of 91.9 screen-to-body ratio.
The Redmi K20 Pro comes with DC dimming support which lacks on the Redmi K20 but both of them will be coming with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 855 SoC powering the Pro variant coupled with Adreno 640 GPU and up to 8BG of RAM while the K20 is powered with Snapdragon 730. Both the devices will be coming with a triple rear camera setup but with different sensors.
The K20 comes with a 48MP camera with Sony IMX582 sensor while the K20 Pro has a 28MP camera with Sony IMX586 sensor with an f/175 lens. There is a secondary 13MP camera with a wide-angle lens and a third 8MP camera along with a 20MP pop camera on the front. Both the device will come out of the box with Android 9 Pie operating system with MIUI on top. Both will be offering 256GB of onboard storage and will b coming with microSD support for extending the storage further.
These will be coming with a 4000mAh battery along with the connectivity options like Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C and also a 3.5mm audio jack. The K20 comes with the support for 18W fast charging while the Pro variant has 27W fast charging support. Well, the pricing of the handsets in India will be announced on the 17th of July and it will be interesting to see how Xiaomi plans to present it.
