Motorola P50 was expected to be launched at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) Shanghai 2019 tech trade show held last week in China but it didn’t happen. Now Lenovo’s Group VP Chang Cheng has released a poster of the phone on Weibo to confirm its key specifications. Furthermore, Mr. Cheng has also announced that the device will be going official in China this week.
The poster of the Motorola P50 has revealed that the device would be coming with a big 6.34-inch display with full HD+ (1080 x 2520) pixels resolutions giving 21:9 superwide display. The device also comes with the support for DCI-P3 color gamut and has a punch hole on the top left that houses a 25MP selfie camera. The front camera sensor comes with the features like NPU smart recognition, HDR and AI smart shoot.
On the back, we can find a 3D glass which is curved on all the sides and also there is a fingerprint sensor which is embedded in the Moto logo. There is a dual camera setup on the back with a primary 48MP sensor with an f/1.75 aperture with 1.6micron pixel size which is supported with a LED flash. The camera will also be offering features like night scene mode, intelligent scene recognition, and 4K video shooting. The other features that are included with the device are its moto gestures.
This device supports dual 4G VoLTE connectivity along with hybrid SIM slot and 128GB of built-in storage which can be extended further with a microSD card. There are other connectivity options like Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C, dual 4G VoLTE< WI-Fi 802.11 ac and will be available in Blue and Brown color options in China. It is expected the Motorola One Vision phone that was launched in other markets could be launched in China as Motorola P50. The Motorola One Vision Android One phone came with the same 6.34-inch display along with the punch hole display with 21:9 aspect ratio. It was powered with an Exynos 9609 octa-core processor with 2.2GHz clocking speeds. It comes with a 48MP main camera sensor along with a 5MP secondary camera.
