Xiaomi Redmi 7A Confirmed to Launched in India on July 4

Recently we have seen the entry level Redmi 7A smartphone was teased for the Indian launched and Xiaomi also asked its fans to guess the launch date. Now, Flipkart has published a microsite of the Xiaomi Redmi 7A smartphone which has confirmed the launch of the device in India on 4th July. The device will not be the same as the Chinese variant since it will be coming with a few changes.

To remind you, the Redmi 7A smartphone will be coming with a polycarbonate chassis with P2i nano-coating for splash resistance and will be coming with 5.45-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It also comes with an eye protection mode for filtering the detrimental blue rays that are emitted from the screen. Under the hood, there is a 2nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 octa-core processor clocked at up to 2.0GHz. It comes with 2GB/3GB of RAM options along with 16GB/32BG of onboard storage. Furthermore, it is equipped with a microSD card slot to extend the storage further.

The Redmi 7A is equipped with a single 13MP camera on the rear with LED flash and a 5MP camera on the front for selfies. Out of the box, it comes with Android 9 Pie operating system with the companies own MIUI 10 on top. There is a 4000mAh battery on the smartphone with the support for 10W power input. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and MicroUSB 2.0 port.

The smartphone comes with curved edges and rounded corners and also has a camera bump on the back. The handset measures 146.30 x 70.41 x 9.55 mm and weighs 165 grams. The pricing of the device is not yet known which should be known in a couple more days.
