Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 with Sliding Cameras Confirmed to Launch on October 25th

During the IFA 2018, Xiaomi teased the upcoming Mi MIX 3 smartphone by posting its image. Recently, the company also shared a few photos captured with the Mi MIX 3 smartphone. While the company already announced to launch its latest flagship device in the month of October, today we got the exact launch date. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 will be officially unveiled on October 25th in Beijing, China. From the teaser image, we can confirm the device to sport iPhone X-like vertically stacked dual camera setup on the rear.

On the front, the device will continue to sport complete bezel-less display. The earlier launched MIX devices came with a thick bottom chin to hold the front-facing camera. With the Mi MIX 3, the company is opting for the slider to hold the front facing camera along with other sensors to offer depth-sensing tech. While we don’t expect the device to offer 100% screen-to-body ratio, it should be higher than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2’s 91.3% screen-to-body ratio.

We also expect the Mi MIX 3 to come with an under-display fingerprint sensor. The Vivo NEX with a complete bezel-less display also with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the device will be using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 385 CPU and Adreno 630 GPU.
