In the coming weeks, Xiaomi will be unveiling the all-new Mi MIX 3 smartphone as the successor to Mi MIX 2S. Last month, the company has officially confirmed the upcoming MIX smartphone to come with a slider mechanism. Recently, the company also posted the teaser images of the device. The Mi MIX 3 might come with up to 10GB of RAM and also 5G support. Now, the company posted clear photos of its sliding camera setup revealing the front camera details.
The slider on the front features 24MP dual selfie cameras along with earpiece/speaker and other sensors. We also expect the device to sport an IR Blaster to support faster face unlock. The earlier launched Mi MIX smartphones came with a single front-facing camera placed on the bottom chin. With the sliding mechanism, the bottom chin on the new Mi MIX 3 is trimmed down to its minimal thickness.
The earlier rumors suggested the device to sport an in-display fingerprint sensor. However, the newly leaked images which reveal the rear view of the device confirms the device to come with a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. It will be coming with a 6.4-inch bezel-less AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2340 × 1080 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. We will be knowing the complete details of the Mi MIX 3 smartphone during its launch on October 25th. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
