We have seen Xiaomi launching its wireless earbuds last year for very aggressive pricing and now it has announced a replica of the Apple’s AirPods and calls as Mi AirDots Pro. These earbuds have been leaking recently with details of its design and now it has been announced officially for 399 Yuan (approx Rs.4000) in China which is 100 Yuan more that its Mi wireless earbuds and these will be going for sale starting January 11th.
These AirDots Pro are IPX4 water resistant that can be used while physical exercise and will still be fine with all the sweat. These earbuds weigh just 5.8 grams making it easier to use and can be paired with iOS as well as Android devices including tablets and laptops. This AirDots Pro comes with touch control for music, calls and voice assistants also.
Furthermore, these can be automatically unpaired with the device once they are removed for the ear after a standby of 30 minutes. These can be used for 10 hours continuously and also supports fast charging and Xiaomi claims 1 hour for it to be charged completely. Furthermore, both right and left can function freely of each other and removing one from an ear lets the other one work in unilateral mode. These earbuds can be shared between two friends or a family member without loss of audio quality.
Coming to the sound quality, these come with 7mm neodymium iron boron magnetic + titanium-plated diaphragm dynamic ring speaker unit.
