Withing’s new Move ECG Smartwatch with EKG sensor Announced at CES 2019

At the ongoing CES event, Withings has introduced many wearables which also includes a new device that can electrocardiograms (EKGs) of the users. Dubbed as the Move ECG, the smartwatch is included in the companies Move line which also comes with many other features like EKG which will measure heart rhythm patterns. Furthermore, the Move ECG will have three electrodes which will take measurements as one is placed in the bezel of the watch and the other two are inside the back of the device.
The Move ECG users can touch both the side of the smartwatch to take the measurements and it will vibrate when it has a reading. The complete data can be tracked on the companies Health Mate companion application which could be downloaded. Moreover, FDA clearance is needed to sell the device and the EKG feature is currently under review from FDA. The Latest Apple Watch received FDA clearance for EKG monitoring but it is not intended for traditional diagnosis or treatment we receive.
The new watch will also be tracking the user’s activity like another smartwatch which includes steps based on the GPS, Sleep monitoring and activity levels. There is also a low-end model which is called Move which does not feature the electrocardiogram feature and is priced at $69.95. The high-end Move ECG is priced at $129.95 and should be available in the second quarter of 2019.
Apart from this, there were produces like BPM core, which is a connected cuff with stainless steel tube which is made to take blood pressure reading and monitor the heart rhythm and the user can listen to their heart through a digital stethoscope.
