Xiaomi unveiled its Redmi K20 flagship series smartphones a couple of days ago in China. While earlier reports suggested that the newly launched Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro would be dubbed as Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro in Russia, the new teasers from Xiaomi suggest otherwise. Yes, the Chinese manufacturer has been teasing new Mi9 series on Twitter. The teased images likely appear to be of Mi 9T as the predecessors Mi 9 have been launched earlier this year.

Xiaomi’s twitter post suggests us that the teaser image is a new member to Mi 9 family, and going by the teaser images – we can see a full screen no notch display on the front and a triple rear cameras set up on the rear, unlike the Redmi K20 series these triple cameras on the Mi 9T are located on the right side, instead of center alignment. Xiaomi has also been “PopUpInStyle” hashtag, indicating us further the Mi 9T would be featuring a pop-up selfie camera, which helps in achieving the notch-less display on the front.

On the back, similar to the earlier released Xiaomi phones, the Mi 9T appears to be featuring a gradient color design preferably in glossy/glass finish. The company with its teaser images also gave its followers guesswork asking what might the ‘T’ in the Mi 9T be. The image also showcases speaker grille on the top apart from the full-screen display.

The new member – the Mi 9T will add to the current Mi 9 product line-up, which includes, the Mi 9, Mi 9 SE and the Mi 9 Transparent Edition. It is still unclear whether a Pro variant will also be unveiled along with the new Mi 9T.
